Basic Function - Serve as a partner to hiring managers to understand organizational needs and effectively source top talent for our world-class team.  Develop a pipeline of professionals through networking via web sources as well as professional/social technical events within all SP+ locations. Work closely with fellow members of the Recruiting team to creatively identify qualified candidates through traditional and cutting edge search methods.  Screen talent and assist in the interview process to evaluate the candidate’s ability, company fit and work to develop candidate interest.  Actively stay engaged with emerging trends in the technology space within the commercial avenues of recruiting.




  • Review, approve and post requisitions for assigned roles
  • Assist field management with creation of requisition(s) in applicant tracking system, when needed
  • Initiate an intake process to inform and devise a plan on their recruiting needs
  • Manage overall recruiting efforts for key management positions in Operations (e.g. Facility Managers, Senior Facility Managers, Senior Managers) on a national basis.
  • Utilize multiple methods and strategies to source both active and passive candidates, including:
    • Job Postings
    • Resume Database Access
    • Social Networks
    • Participation in Professional Organizations / Networking Groups
  • Act as company contact for state workforce agencies, veteran and community outreach organizations (OFCCP compliance)
  • Review resumes and interview candidates for presentation to hiring managers
  • Contact passive candidates regarding their interest in potential opportunities
  • Act as liaison between Hiring Managers and candidates through the hiring process
  • Provide oversight, counsel, and monitor the region’s recruiting techniques, assessment, selection, interviews, and onboarding by managers
  • Provide managers guidance related to hiring-related processes (e.g. background checks, drug testing, and submission of new hire paperwork)
  • Help facilitate the formal offer process for successful candidates




  • Minimum of 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Strong fundamental grounding in human resources
  • Computer Skills:  Prior experience in using a comprehensive Applicant Tracking System and proficiency with Google Mail, MS word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Understanding of fundamental process of full cycle recruiting issues and has an operational orientation to human resources
  • Comfortable and effective in coaching management team as well as coaching the candidates on interviewing and interview procedures
  • Ability to influence candidates
  • Experience in recruiting and other HR generalist activities. Superb interpersonal skills and the wisdom to be both tough and understanding
  • Previous demonstrated experience managing multiple searches at the same time, remaining flexible, and shifting priorities frequently as required
  • Willingness to work long hours, handle multiple priorities and travel, as required
  • Strong communication and relationship skills at all levels with a pragmatic down-to-earth style
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced organization that may not have many processes or systems in place
  • Must have a high degree of integrity, with discretion and an attitude of full disclosure
