Responsibilities

The Partnership Manager is responsible for managing national relationships for SP+ and maximizing the revenue from these relationships.  The Manager will be an integral part of the team as we continue to enter into more national agreements.  The role will be responsible for both managing existing agreements and entering into new strategic relationships.  This is an exciting opportunity as you will be working with third party aggregators, car sharing and ride sharing companies, mapping companies and many other cutting edge technologies.

 

The Manager will play a key role in shaping the direction that SP+ takes in an ever changing world of mobility, parking and technology. 

 

  • Maximize revenues through each of these relationships by working closely with the Operations, Marketing and Revenue Management teams
  • Utilize project management tools in the roll-out of various initiatives across a cross-functional group of stakeholders
  • Document and report on the success of SP+ partnerships
  • Develop a working relationship with SMEs in the field to understand the nuances of each market
  • Build a knowledge base for the digital ecosystem (distribution channels) and demand drivers to our Parking facilities

Qualifications

  • BS/BA or advanced degree in Marketing, Finance or Business Administration
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in Business Development, Account Manager or as a Consultant
  • Contracting and negotiating experience
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to assemble information, extract pertinent facts, draw logical conclusions and present recommendations
  • Leverage understanding of business processes to identify and implement solutions that will result in significant bottom-line contributions
  • Understand intuition behind the numbers (i.e. understand if numbers make sense)
  • Work in the transportation or travel industries is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to sell initiatives internally
  • Proficiency in Excel
