Overview

SP+ is currently recruiting a Regional Operations Support Manager that will assist with the execution of internal culture, and employee engagement activities designed to continually enrich the culture of the region by effectively delivering learning and development support. This person works closely with HR Leadership and the field operations team to ensure programs are delivering desired outcomes for the region as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative and creative employee activities to promote team-building
  • Ensure and provide flawless, upscale, professional, and high class guest service experiences through the delivery of guest service, operational and leadership training to all staff levels
  • Conduct site visits to assess the transfer of learning knowledge to job tasks. Report findings to operational leadership with recommendations for learning interventions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to assess learning gaps in operations and customer service
  • Assist with recruiting
  • Oversee Spotlight on Service program: sending out monthly notifications, gathering recipients, assisting with the creation of certificates and pictures; promoting internally and externally (LinkedIn)
  • Communicate with prospective new hires on upcoming training, i.e., OJT checklists, first day, who to report to, manager training toolkits, etc.
  • Responsible for the on-boarding process, including welcome, orientation, new hire training, etc.
  • Check in with new Employee(s) 30-45 days after the start date
  • Support the local management team with recruitment efforts for all positions on a needed basis
  • Co-editor of quarterly Newsletter Blog
  • Continuously identify ways to improve the employee experience by engaging with staff and bringing perspective on best practices in fostering a culture
  • Will work to foster a sense of community across the entire region.
  • Research, develop, and execute new culture initiatives to increase employee engagement.
  • Support the local management team with large-scale hiring efforts for new location openings or existing at-risk locations
  • Identifying and promoting best practices as it relates to attracting, engaging, and onboarding talent, as well as leveraging an applicant tracking system to streamline the hiring process
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and administering pre-employment background checks and drug screens on applicants
  • Assist with HR and special operational projects and other administrative tasks on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  •  2-4 years previous experience in an administrative support, customer service, or event coordination role.
  • Associates degree in HR, Marketing, or related field; Bachelor s degree preferred.
