Overview

Basic Function – Oversee the execution of regional and city specific marketing programs intended to identify new business opportunities, drive incremental revenue and grow existing client and leased business.  

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Strategy and Planning

  • Create (or oversee the creation of) business-to-business and business-to-consumer city specific marketing programs that support parking facility promotion and incremental sales/revenue
  • Work directly with field operations team members to develop pricing and promotions programs that support operational objectives and business commitments.  
  • Lead the development of local marketing campaigns including establishing program objectives, integration of messaging, and identification of appropriate vehicles and channels
  • Work with facility managers to identify competitive challenges and untapped opportunities, and develop marketing programs that effectively exploit them.
  • Work in collaboration with Corporate Marketing support staff on the implementation of centrally managed marketing programs including website and mobile promotions, paid search campaigns, email marketing, social media, partnership marketing and at location advertising/promotions
  • Coordinate with Corporate Marketing support staff the management of local marketing campaigns requiring third party advertising, marketing agencies and vendors
  • Ensure that all program executions conform to SP+ corporate brand guidelines

 

Marketing Initiatives Development

  • Develop local marketing collateral materials specific to promoting services within the region/city including flyers, take ones, local advertising, and local partner promotions 
  • Identify city specific website and mobile platform promotions for local initiatives and manage implementation with the support of the corporate website content and development teams  
  • Work in collaboration with Corporate Marketing to accurately track and analyze programs to maximized performance, and contribution to business objectives      
  • Consistently review existing website content supporting the cities within the region and identify additions and modifications to improve organic search performance through search engine optimizations (SEO), including site content, city attractions, local events, and popular city destinations
  • Work with the corporate interactive marketing managers to develop, monitor and analyze paid search campaigns in support of city-specific initiatives including modifications to existing campaigns and the identification of new campaigns to support field operations objectives
  • Identify and implement partner marketing programs with local businesses and merchants     
  • Work with the corporate interactive marketing managers to determine and implement messaging strategies and implementation plans for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Foursquare
  • Ensure the user experience from customer touch point through completed sale is user friendly to maximize conversion and revenue generation

 

Education & Training

  • Act as the local subject matter expert with regional field teams for all online and offline marketing initiatives 
  • Monitor the marketing initiatives implemented within the region to ensure that corporate marketing best practices are being observed
  • Stay abreast of the latest innovations in online and offline marketing capabilities and their applicability to SP+ revenue generation

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in interactive marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to self-manage
  • Desire and ability to think strategically and outside the box
  • Willingness to constantly think, learn and be challenged
  • Marketing program management experience preferred
