Overview

Job Function – The Manager, Regional Finance will oversee one or more Regions’ general finance functions and will support the execution of the overall financial and strategic plan of a Division.

Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare financial scorecard variance comments for steering committee and quarterly review meetings
  • Review the Regions’ monthly net operating income by location with the Executive Vice President, Senior Vice Presidents, and the Regional Managers
  • Review the accuracy and completion of pro formas, return on investments (ROI), and Deal Journey (Salesforce) for new locations, existing location renewals, capital investments and acquisitions
  • Manage the Regional budget/reforecast process from start to finish
  • Review/Help prepare Executive Vice President, Senior Vice Presidents’ and Regional Managers’ general administrative expense budget and reforecast
  • Schedule Regional review meetings to ensure that Regional budgets have been reviewed and approved by the Executive Vice President or Senior Vice Presidents prior to the corporate due date
  • Identify key variance areas and work with the Executive Vice President or Senior Vice Presidents to implement change as required
  • Follow-up with budget owners to ensure that required budget/reforecast changes have been properly made
  • Serve as the primary support resource for the Region with respect to the budget/reforecast application (Hyperion)
  • Coordinate monthly sessions to review monthly parker and landlord accounts receivable balances
  • Review lease locations revenue with Regional Managers on a bi-weekly basis
  • Work with Operations, Accounting, Planning to implement new revenue or cost reduction initiatives in financial system
  • Calculate/Review JV/Acquisition Partner agreements and payments
  • Prepare Ad Hoc reports
  • Complete special projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least three years of experience with financial analysis, including budget preparation, variance analysis and ability to read and understand financial statements (e.g. P&Ls)
  • Familiarity with accounting for multi-location environment is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and Google applications
  • Familiarity with Hyperion, Smartview/Essbase and Salesforce preferred
  • Attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize and be highly productive/efficient
  • Parking industry experience a plus
